May 20 Update

Bond Yields down a little today.  Worries over inflation and higher oil prices push higher rates.  Maybe the trend is stabilizing and the speed of the increases slowing. 

Nvidia earnings tonight.  Very important.  Nvidia leading stock, leading technology, etc. 

HALO trade – Heavy Asset Low Obsolescence.  Market leaders in recent year have been “asset light”.  No bricks and mortars.  No Factories.  No plant & equipment. 

Heavy asset companies have factories, equipment, etc.  Resistant to AI replacement.  AI can’t replace oil tanker, metal mining operations (copper, gold, lithium, etc.), steel manufacturing, and construction.
