4/13 Update

The stock market has had a nice rally.  The S&P 500 was down on Friday which broke a 7 day winning streak.  Here are last week’s performance for the major averages:

In addition to the events in the Middle East and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, this week is full of earnings reports.  Goldman Sachs reported this morning – good numbers but the stock is down 2.7%. 

There are a lot of financials reporting this week – JPM, C, WFC, Blackrock, and many other banks.
